By downloading, installing, or using Eatiq ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Eatiq is a calorie tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutritional content from food photos. The App provides:

Eatiq offers both free and premium subscription tiers:
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. We do not directly process payments or have access to your payment information.

Our Property: The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by Eatiq and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
Your Content: You retain ownership of photos and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content to provide the Service to you.
We do not claim ownership of your personal data or photos. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eatiq, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
Informal Resolution: Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration: Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
