By downloading, installing, or using Eatiq ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Eatiq ("Eatiq", "we", "our", "us") is a service operated by Hafid Selbi, a sole trader established in Agadir, Morocco. You can contact the Eatiq team at support@eatiq.app.
Eatiq is a nutrition tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos and estimate nutritional content. The App provides:
You must be at least 13 years old to use Eatiq, and at least 18 years old if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. By using the App you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement.
Eatiq is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
The nutritional information provided by our AI is an estimate and may not be 100% accurate. Always consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have:
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:
Free trial: New accounts include a free trial period. You do not need to enter payment details to start the trial.
Subscription required after the trial: When the free trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the App. Eatiq does not offer an ongoing free tier.
Premium Subscription: Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by Eatiq. Requests should be made through Apple's "Report a Problem" page.
Promotional codes: We may issue codes granting a period of free access. Codes are limited in number, may expire, and may be withdrawn at any time. Access already granted is not affected.
You agree not to:
All content, features, and functionality of Eatiq, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Eatiq and protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
You retain ownership of photos and data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely in order to provide the App's features to you. This licence ends when you delete the data or your account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your mandatory local consumer rights apply regardless of anything in this section.
These terms are between you and Eatiq, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.
If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and the courts of Agadir, Morocco have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
